Not long ago, former procrastinators, an Uber driver shared some thought-provoking observations with my husband and me. As we manuevered through narrow streets avoiding orange cones and looking for open lanes, the driver said he’d recently been passing through another construction area. He was thinking how irritating, inconvenient, and time consuming it is to deal…
Our look into problems that plague us, former procrastinators, makes me want to look at some fun things. Thank you for passing on your tough spots. Now, what encouragements do you like? Please let us know. Progress of any kind makes me smile about moving along. Sometimes it’s like having a little celebration with the…
It’s been revolutionizing, former procrastinators. One simple question I ask myself and act on helps me tremendously. It helps in everyday situations and when I feel overwhelmed. “What CAN I do?” When we stare at a mountain-job we’d rather not do, it’s hard to even recognize something about it that is doable. Asking “What CAN…
“Overwhelming,” former procrastinators, means “difficult to resist, overpowering.” We must get out of the tsunami mindset. We’re daughters of the King filled with His Holy Spirit. But the sluggard thinks he knows better than they do. “The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can answer sensibly.” Prov 26:16 He thinks more highly of himself than he ought….

Proverbs 6:6-8
