Merry Christmas! – Practicing Proverbs
Merry Christmas, former procrastinators! What joy is ours because Jesus Christ was born, died, and rose again! He exercises His love and power on our behalf to the glory of the Father. And, he embodies the wisdom of God. What a fitting climax for our year’s look into the book of Proverbs. To grow in the knowledge of Christ, to abide more deeply in Him is to grow in wisdom.
“And because of him you are in Christ Jesus who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption”. I Corinthians 1:30
He is “Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:24
We worship “Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:3
He is an unspeakable gift and unspeakable joy!
May He fill you with joy and wisdom.
