Here’s a cool thing, former procrastinators. The root word of “routine” is “route” or “road.” So helpful! Knowing this, I think of the word in a friendly, profitable way. This is significant because a road leads somewhere, even if it dead ends in the woods as I once did exploring. Where do you want…
Reporting in, former procrastinators: I have completed the first photo album and given it to our daughter! Yea! Two more albums to meet this year’s photo goal. A few essentials. Our petunias remind me of focusing on a few. When I pluck shriveled blossoms off the flowers, I give them relief – permission to…
We were at a wedding, former procrastinators, where my husband wore his formal military mess dress. Someone came up to him and commented, “You must wear this pretty often.” “Yes, I do. Why do you ask?” “The other men in tuxes are stiff and ill at ease. You’re very comfortable.” When my husband initially wore…
My dad, former procrastinators, kept a magnifying glass beside his chair along with a small print dictionary. Whenever he came upon a word he didn’t know the meaning of, he looked it up to gain understanding. He focused on that word. He learned the definition; he saw how what he was reading made sense. What…

I’d like to make this Covid-19 time period a “No Regret Opportunity.” If I put things off, regret moves in. Even amidst disappointment and inconvenience we can avoid regret by keeping close to Jesus. …
Do you feel, former procrastinators, like the writer who types a few words on sheet number six, rips the sheet out, wads it up, tosses it toward the trash can with a frown, and stomps away in frustration? Things have not gone as we’d like this spring. Has Covid-19 provided an excuse to delay work? …
